How Do I Know If I Have Insurance?
Most people have insurance coverage for a psychologist. Find out if you do. Call your insurance company and ask the following questions:

Have your insurance plan number and certificate or identification number handy when you call.

  • Does my plan cover the services of a Registered Psychologist?

  • Do you cover 100% of the amount or do I have to pay a portion of each visit?

  • How do I submit my claim for reimbursement?

Almost all insurance companies require you to pay the psychologist yourself and then send a receipt to them for reimbursement.
