Referrals from Physicians

  1. You or your office staff may fax your referral to (902) 423-3469. We will contact your patient to arrange an appointment.
  1. You or your office staff may telephone us at (902) 492-2546. If our office line is busy, a voice-mail message with the name and telephone number of your patient is all that is needed for us to make an appointment.
  1. You may email your patient's name and telephone number in complete privacy. We will contact your patient to arrange an appointment.

Your patient may require a written referral from you to submit to his or her insurer to claim reimbursement for psychological services.

Referrals from Other Health Care Professionals

Your patient or client may require a written referral from a physician to submit to his or her insurer to claim reimbursement for psychological services. Most insurers will reimburse fees paid only to a Registered Psychologist.

Referrals from Employee Assistance Programs

We work with numerous EAP's both within the province and across Canada and are pleased to offer our services within the parameters of your Company's requirements. Once we have agreed upon the terms of our association, you can easily refer your clients by

  1. Faxing your referral to (902) 423-3469.
  1. Telephoning us at (902) 492-2546. If our office line is busy, a voice-mail message with the name and telephone number of your client is all that is needed.
  1. Emailing your client's name and telephone number in complete privacy.

Referrals from Lawyers

Legal firms are generally seeking either assessments or therapy for their clients. Dr. Genest's Curriculum Vitae is available on this site. We require a letter from you indicating your assessed needs for the client and informing us who will be paying for the services. A retainer is required for assessments.
